At Old Tascosa Brewing Company, we’re dedicated to celebrating the legacy of Historic Route 66 while crafting exceptional beer that brings people together.

We honor our building’s 1948 heritage, our founder’s military service, and the rich history of Amarillo by creating a warm, welcoming space where locals and travelers alike can relax, connect, and make memories.

OUR STORY

How It All Started

Our founder’s journey began in his hometown of Kansas City, a place with deep roots in craft brewing. Then after he proudly served in the Air Force and learned the beer craft at Anheuser-Busch, his dream of creating his own unique brewery had been launched.

Moving to Amarillo brought new opportunities and a deep connection to the community. What started as homebrewing in a garage – experimenting with recipes, perfecting techniques, and sharing pints with friends, slowly evolved into something bigger.

The love of history, Route 66, and the welcoming spirit of West Texas all converged into one vision: a brewery that honors the past while creating new memories for locals and travelers alike.
